You're going to have surgery this morning. We're all nervous about it, well, I know I am for sure. You've got to get put under anesthesia to get silver caps put on your teeth. They're doing it at UMC hospital and it's probably nothing to get worried about, so I'm just saying a prayer and handing the worry over to God.
This reminds me I haven't put anything in here lately about your recent accomplishments.
You started school a few weeks ago. You've been crying a lot when we drop you off. Daddy says you don't cry when he drops you off, just when I'm with him. I want you to know that warms my heart, but it's bitter sweet because I don't want you to feel sad. Both you and Delsin keep telling me you want to be homeschooled, so if that's still the case next fall we'll go back to homeschooling. But you're doing really great. You haven't missed a single thing on any of your work yet. School started August 1st. In fact, you are doing the same homework that Delsin does, because you don't want him to get ahead of you in school work. You're very driven and I love that about you.
In ballet you have been named the student of the month, the first student of the month award to be precise. Here is what they wrote about you.

Kai Urick
Kai is five years old and in kindergarten. Her favorite subject in school is writing. She loves the color pink. She has been dancing for a couple of years, and her favorite style of dance is ballet. She also loves to sing. Kai is a hard worker and a fast learner! She comes to dance each week having practiced her new steps from the week before. Kai is a joy to have in class!
I don't know if the photo will show up, so I'll post a couple more that they took.
Right now I have to get you ready to go to the hospital.
I quickly want to mention that we started Daisy's in recent weeks and you earned a badge for making a first aid kit. You also helped tremendously in raising money at the hot dog stand last week, for a trip to the zoo.
Good Job Girlie!
